Psychotherapy

A space to be heard, to untangle, and to reconnect with yourself.

Sometimes life feels heavy, unclear, or overwhelming, and it’s hard to know where to begin. Psychotherapy offers a space where you don’t have to have the answers. Together, we can explore what’s going on beneath the surface at a pace that feels safe and supportive.

This is your space to growreflect, and feel more like you again.

What to Expect from Sessions

Sessions are 60 minutes long and are held either online or in person. I offer a warm, collaborative space where you can explore your thoughts, feelings, and patterns without judgment or pressure. Some weeks might feel full of insight; others may simply be about showing up — both are welcome.

My Approach

I work integratively, drawing from different therapeutic approaches depending on what feels most helpful for you. Therapy is not one-size-fits-all; we work together to understand what you need.

Person-Centred Therapy

At the heart of my work is the belief that you are the expert on your own life.

Person-centred therapy creates a space where you can feel heard, accepted, and understood without judgement. When we feel safe enough to be ourselves, change can happen naturally.

This therapy helps you explore your thoughts and feelings at your own pace, so you can build self-trust, strengthen your sense of self, and make meaningful changes — not because someone tells you to, but because it feels right for you.

It’s about coming home to yourself, one step at a time.

Psychodynamic Therapy

Sometimes our present experiences are shaped by things we have learned, adapted to, or carried from the past.

Together, we can gently explore patterns, relationships, emotions, and experiences that may still influence how you see yourself and the world.

It’s not about quick fixes; it’s about lasting insight and meaningful change.

Existential Therapy

Sometimes therapy is about the deeper questions:

Who am I?
What matters to me?
How do I want to live?

Existential therapy helps you explore meaning, identity, choices, and how to create a life that feels more aligned with who you are.

You don’t need to have it all figured out, just a willingness to explore what it means to be you.

Trauma-Informed Practice

Trauma-informed therapy recognises that our experiences shape how we relate to ourselves, others, and the world. We work with compassion, safety, and choice at the centre, moving at a pace that respects your nervous system.

Parts Work

Sometimes it can feel like different parts of ourselves are pulling in different directions: the part that wants to achieve, the part that feels afraid, the part that wants to give up.

Parts work helps us understand these inner experiences with curiosity rather than criticism.

Somatic Awareness

Our bodies often hold experiences that are difficult to put into words.

Somatic approaches help you reconnect with your body, notice patterns of stress or emotion, and develop a kinder relationship with yourself.

As trauma therapist Peter Levine explains: “Trauma is not what happens to us, but what we hold inside in the absence of an empathetic witness.”

You don’t need to have the right words; your body already speaks volumes. This approach simply helps you learn how to listen.

Neurodivergent-Affirming Practices

Your brain does not need fixing.

Neurodivergent-affirming therapy recognises differences such as ADHD, autism, dyslexia, and other forms of neurological diversity as valid ways of experiencing the world.

Together, we can explore identity, masking, burnout, sensory needs, self-understanding, and what it means to live in a way that honours who you are.

You don’t need to change who you are to be supported. You just need a space that sees you clearly and affirms that your way of being in the world is already enough.

Psychotherapy May Support You With:

  • Anxiety, low mood, or burnout
  • Identity, life transitions or self-esteem
  • Trauma, PTSD or dissociation
  • Navigating people-pleasing or boundaries
  • Neurodivergence and masking
  • Creative or professional stress
  • Grief, loss, or relationship difficulties

Frequently Asked Questions

Not at all. Some people arrive with a clear challenge, others simply know something doesn’t feel right and want a safe space to unpack it. All are welcome.

If you're curious about understanding yourself more deeply, improving emotional resilience, or breaking cycles that no longer serve you — therapy might be a good fit. We can explore this together in a free consultation.

That’s entirely up to you. Some people come for short-term support around a specific issue, others find benefit in longer-term exploration. We’ll review it together as your needs evolve.
