Therapeutic Body Doubling at Rise Psychotherapy is a specialised service designed to  support neurodivergent adults who struggle with focus, task initiation, and productivity. It  combines integrative psychotherapy with the proven technique of body doubling— working alongside another person to enhance motivation and follow-through. This approach goes beyond traditional body doubling by addressing the underlying  emotional, cognitive, and behavioural patterns that affect productivity. With gentle  guidance and professional therapeutic support, it helps you complete tasks while also  building insight into your unique challenges and strengths.

1. Standard Body Doubling

Professional Accountability for Productivity 

This service provides focused, structured support to help you stay on task and build better  habits. 

Session Structure (60 minutes): 

  • Check-in and task setting (5–10 min) 
  • Focused task work with guidance (40–45 min) 
  • Closing reflection and planning (5–10 min)

  • Procrastination and habit formation 

Pricing: 

  • Single session: £40 
  • 4-session package: £140 (£35/session) 

2. Premium Therapeutic Body Doubling

This premium service blends body doubling with therapeutic insight to explore and shift the  emotional blocks and patterns that interfere with task completion. 

Session Structure (60 minutes): 

  • Check-in and intention setting (5–10 min) 
  • Guided task-focused work (30–35 min) 
  • Therapeutic reflection and discussion (15–20 min) 
  • Regulation techniques and close (5 min) 

Includes optional somatic practices, breathwork, and psychoeducation tailored to your  needs. 

Ideal For: 

  • Perfectionism, procrastination, or task-related anxiety 
  • Executive functioning challenges 
  • Emotional overwhelm tied to productivity 
  • Building sustainable focus strategies 

Pricing: 

  • Single session: £50 
  • 4-session package: £185 (£46.25/session) 

Session Details 

  • Format: All sessions are held remotely via Microsoft Teams or WhatsApp.
  • Sensory Considerations: Sessions are adaptable to your sensory and focus needs.
  • Confidentiality: All services adhere to the BACP's ethical guidelines.

  • Opening check-in: Mindfulness, task setting, potential challenges
  • Body doubling: Focused task time with optional silent work or check-ins
